This is a Key Stage 2 class, with children from Years Three, Four, Five and Six.
The adults in Class Two are:
Class Teacher: Ms. J. Davison
Teaching Assistant: Mrs. J. Lee
Pupil specific teaching assistant: Mrs. T. Brant
As a staff, we work alongside each other in a flexible way to support and teach the children in our class in a variety of different ways. We aim to liaise with each other and with parents as effectively as possible to promote the welfare, happiness and learning progress of the children in our care. To this end, we welcome the input of parents as well. You have many talents and skills which could help us in enriching the school experience of your children – please feel free to talk to us if you feel you can support us in anyway. Similarly, if you need to talk to us at any point, either catch us on the playground at either end of the school day, or if you need longer, please call at the office to make an appointment.
For the Autumn term, we have lots of exciting things to learn based on our fabulous new curriculum, which I think the children will really enjoy! There are workshops and visits in the pipeline including the residential trip for year 5 and 6 in November.
In the Spring Term, Young Voices is already booked for January too. Miss Thorne has also signed us up for lots of sporting event such as badminton, rugby and hockey.
This year is an important one for Year 6 as they have their SATs in May. There are many and various study and revision guides available to help your child at home which you might like to invest in.
We hope that the year is a successful and happy one for everyone in the class.
