Welcome to Einstein Class
We are a vibrant and exciting Year Five and Six class taught by Mrs Moore and we are supported in our learning and personal development by Mrs Oughton, Mrs Stokes and Miss Thorne.
In Einstein Class, we are becoming confident using a wide range of skills across the curriculum and are constantly extending our application of these. We enjoy our topic learning and are looking forward to an exciting range of topics taking us from The Early British Empire where we will learn about The Mughal Empire and The East India Company through to The Industrial Revolution and The Victorian Age before ending the academic year learning about World War One and The Suffragettes. Geography will take us on a journey across the world as we learn about the work of cartographers as we develop our spatial sense and map skills before jetting off to Australia and New Zealand later in the year.
Not to forget our Global Goal Golden Thread! Here at the Holy Cross CofE Primary, we are passionate about learning more about our world today and shaping our futures so we enhance our whole curriculum by learning about the United Nations Sustainable Goals alongside our subjects.
We use ICT to support and extend our learning, as we continue to be responsible, independent learners. We are developing our confidence in expressing ourselves and our ideas in many different ways.
During the Spring term, PE will be on a Monday and Thursday afternoon so please remember your PE kits those days.
Thank you for reading and hope you are as excited as we are for the fantastic year ahead!
