Extra Curricular Activities & After School Clubs

Breakfast Club

As many of you are already aware, we run a Breakfast Club at school which runs from Breakfast
8am – 9am, Monday to Friday. Children are given breakfast (cereal and/or toast, orange juice, milk) and play with others until school starts. In recent times numbers have fallen quite significantly and we are looking at ways to make the club more successful. It was decided that for parents who are looking to have more than one child attend, a sliding scale should be introduced in order to prevent cost becoming unmanageable. So the cost to families per day for one child is now £3.20, for two children this would be £5 and for each child after that £1.40. Please see a member of staff if you are interested in your child(ren) attending Breakfast Club. Please see brochure below for more information.

After School Clubs

After school clubs are open to all children at Wormegay Church of England Primary and sometimes to our partnership school Runcton Holme Church of England Primary. The clubs start at 3.15pm when the children have been dismissed from their last lesson.

** Where after school clubs are being held at Runcton Holme, parents will need to transport and collect their own children..

Please remember that all clubs are run on a goodwill basis – they are provided to enhance your child’s experience and enjoyment. We will always try to ensure that clubs run as expected, but if clubs do need to be cancelled, we will endeavour to give parents as much notice as possible to make other arrangements. If clubs are cancelled at very short notice we will ensure that children whose parents cannot be contacted are looked after in school until they can be collected.
