School Meals

At lunchtime children can choose whether to have a hot or cold dinner, or bring a packed lunch from home.  Hot dinners are provided by Chartwells and transported to the school from the main kitchen at Ten Mile Bank Primary.  Menus are available from the office, sharing the choices from which the children can choose. Dinners need to be ordered with the school office a week in advance.

The cost of school meals are £2.30 per day. Payment should be made on a weekly basis to the school office. Reception, Year One and Two are entitled to a universal free school meal.

Children can bring their own packed lunch if they prefer. We encourage the children to think about what they bring in their packed lunch and ensure these are part of a healthy balanced diet; sweets/ chocolate bars, fizzy drinks are discouraged.

We encourage the children to bring to school a drink in a water bottle, this should be water or flavoured water only.  Children in EYFS/ KS1 are provided with fruit for a snack at break time.  Children in Class Two and Three may bring a healthy snack (no crisps/ chocolate/ sweets) if they wish.
